Automatic Updates

Does the below paragraph mean that the API doesn’t automatically update the schedule?

“To gain access to the SummerStage program and venue schedules you will need to access our FTP server and download our CSV file. All HackSummerStage entrants must download and update the content within their application at least once every 24 hours to pull in any relevant content and / or updates to the SummerStage concert schedule. E-mail sean@UPlanMe.com for API access.”

    Hi Quinn, it just means that if you are downloading the SummerStage API file from the FTP server, you must do so at least once every 24 hours to update your content as event data could change (e.g. location, start day/time, event could be cancelled, etc.). If you'd like to run an update more frequently, that is fine.

    The complete SummerStage schedule will be released the week of April 22. At that time it will be provided to everyone who has requested an API.

    Quinn, for now the only way to access is through FTP server. We may look into creating a Json feed, but I can't promise that will be available
